Prepare Subfloor

Use a 5-6 mm V-Notch Trowel
Apply SETTO Supreme S75 with a 5-6 mm V-notch trowel held at a 45 degree angle for controlled adhesive ridges.

Maintain 45 Degree Angle
Hold the trowel at approximately 45 degrees to create consistent adhesive height and transfer.

Check Adhesive Transfer
Structural bonding requires minimum 80% adhesive transfer between subfloor and timber flooring.

Use Full Coverage When Required
100% substrate coverage is required for full moisture and acoustic performance.

Current estimates use the latest TDS coverage basis. Flooring type provides project context for technical support and quoting.
What trowel size is recommended for different flooring?

When should 100% coverage be used?
Use 100% substrate coverage when full moisture and acoustic performance is required, subject to site conditions and latest TDS guidance.
How long is the open time of the adhesive?
